• Effective medication management of palliative symptoms.
• Review and monitor patients’ medication profiles.
• An on-site consultant Pharmacist to provide therapeutic recommendations based on medication usage guidelines.
• Computer database that facilitates viewing of medication profiles and screens for drug interactions.
• Provide all oral medication to the hospice patient.
• Provide all injectable infusion medications (including PCA medications via ambulatory pump), as well as, hydration therapy.
• Availability of our clinical staff 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, whenever you need us.
• In servicing of hospice clinical staff on the latest pain control modalities and infusion devices.

Avanti Health Care Services has consistently utilized cutting edge practices to ensure cost containment in the assessment, treatment and management of patients in need of end-of-life care. Upon request, Avanti will develop an institution specific formulary that will enable the facility to control medication cost while optimizing the medical care involved in symptom management.
