Avanti Health is licensed to provide pharmacy services in New York, New Jersey and Florida. Same day courier is available in the following areas: Manhattan, Queens, Bronx, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk. Patients outside this area are served by third party shipping partners on an as-needed basis.

Medications are delivered on a regular schedule (every 28 days). Patients receive a wellness call as the delivery approaches to provide the date and time of the upcoming delivery. Tracking is available via the DDMRX delivery app for real-time updates while delivery is enroute.

Avanti can typically deliver urgent medications within a four- hour window depending upon location, time of day and weather.

Patients are responsible for all prescription copayments as determined by their prescription drug coverage. The Avanti team will discuss costs for all medications prior to start of service and may make recommendations for ways to reduce total costs. For many patients, there is no cost at all. Institutional pricing is available upon request.

Avanti accepts most major insurance plans, including Medicare Part D, Medicaid and private-pay insurance.

Avanti does dispense insulin and can provide other diabetic supplies. Patients with traditional/straight Medicare may need to go through a Medicare-approved company for diabetic supplies to obtain coverage benefits.

Medication changes are handled on a case-by-case basis. Our pharmacists work with prescribers to determine the best solution. Often, we may deliver a limited supply prior to the patient’s next scheduled delivery. The pharmacy care team will review any changes with the patient or caregiver.

Avanti provides medications in discreet, unmarked packaging. There is nothing on the packaging to identify medication is inside.
